Wussy Republicans

Why we are losing

Wussies. That’s right. Wussies.

The Republican leadership at virtually every level of American politics are incompetent, myopic, unskilled and gutless wussies. And I’m sick of it.

Not conservatives. Conservatives are right on every aspect of their political beliefs. And from the Iraq war to school choice to Social Security reform to abortion, Americans, at some point, supported every conservative position. And yet, Republicans, the political vehicle for Conservative philosophy, are losing every political battle. Why? Because as politicians, they suck.

How hard is it to sell America on why we should take out Hussein?

Everyone knows he is a terrorist who killed a million and a half of his own people, and used chemical weapons routinely for 20 years.

How hard is it to tell Americans we are winning the war?

We opened up XX schools this month, rebuilt XX miles of roads, XX miles of water and sewer, and Iraq has a constitution and a government. Incidentally, things that took Japan and Germany 10 years to accomplish.

How challenging is it to explain war’s mistakes?

We didn’t win a battle in World War II for three years. Should we have quit?

And how hard is it to sell the NSA spy programs?

Why do liberals want to help terrorists make plans to kill Americans?

How difficult is to explain that Democrats are traitors?

Why are Democrats working so hard to help the enemy?

And how hard is it to sell Americans on Social Security reform?

Throw darts at the Wall Street Journal. You’ll get six times the Socials Security benefit, even if the stock market tanks the day before you take your money out. And your kids get the money when you die.

Is it hard to sell Americans on tax cuts?

Tax cuts created the best economy in world history. Income is up 30% in 4 years. Tax revenues are up 20%. Why do Democrats want to ruin the economy and take money from us?

How tough is it to explain deficits?

We are in a war, you idiots. It costs money to win. Or shall we surrender, like liberals always want America to do?

Oh, I got a million of ‘em. And probably, so do you.. But I can’t tell you why George Bush doesn’t hold a press conference and ask the New York Times reporter,“Why are you lying to the American people?” And then give these fabulous answers? But he won’t. Because he’s not a nasty S.O.B. And that’s what the Republicans are sorely lacking: some freaking backbone.

But I can’t entirely blame George Bush. It probably wouldn’t even matter. Because nobody would hear him anyway. The press is still controlled by a rabid liberal elite, wedded to the Democrat Party. They actively campaign against any conservative initiative, hide conservative successes, and trumpet liberal lies as if they were truth etched in stone.

So, the real question is, why do liberals still run the press?

Before I answer, let’s give Democrats the credit they deserve. First, they treacherously decided to compromise and damage America security in wartime, in order to win political power. They claimed the President lied in order to enter the war, the war is being fought wrongly, they exaggerate the saga of Abu Ghraib and Guantanimo Bay, and portray NSA spy programs as constitutional violations. Not only do they sway Americans into second-guessing the war effort, they discourage allies and encourage our enemies. For sheer political advantage, Democrats have actively, willingly and earnestly attempted to cause America failure in time of war.

That is despicable. That is treachery. But that is indeed, commitment. If only Republicans were as committed to the truth!.

But their message couldn’t have effect without leftist media accomplices, who have virtually hidden the best economy in world history, lied about American war efforts, exaggerated war failures and hidden war victories. Ironically, their exposure seems to have unleashed their activism as they unashamedly working to defeat Republicans in every possible way.

And what have Republicans done? Nothing.

And consider the opportunity! The cost of buying out every significant media conglomerate is a pittance compared to the great fortunes owned by just a few fat-cat conservatives. A few billion dollars, and the entire print, cable and TV media could be owned by Republicans, including every aspect of distribution. Come on, guys…who’ll step up?

And don’t give me that nonsense about cable overcoming the old media. Old liberal dynasties still control the vast majority of viewers, by about 10-1. And last time I checked, that isn’t enough to win elections.

So here’s to the right wing wussies, unmotivated, unwilling or just plain too stupid enough to fight the fight. I just wish there was another party to join, one that might actually be conservative and willing to fight.
